Since moving to another city for work, I’ve been constantly worried about my parents who still live in our hometown. They’re pretty independent, but I can tell they feel the distance when something small comes up, like carrying groceries or getting to a doctor’s appointment. I call often, but calls aren’t the same as knowing someone actually stops by to check on them. I keep wondering if there’s a way to make sure they’re supported without me feeling guilty for not being there every day. Has anyone else found a solution for this kind of situation?
